Our Policies: How We Operate | Expanding Visions Foundation

Our policies reflect the highest standard of par excellence. Our policies and procedures book is always available to interested parties for the purposes of reproof and understanding of our goals. We will not discriminate on basis of race, color, gender, creed, ethnic origin, religion or sexual preference.

Group mentoring sessions are held on the first and third Saturday of every month. One Saturday per quarter is set aside for a group community service project.

Mentees

All EVF students must come to the sessions prepared with the following:

Be on time
A positive attitude, self respect and respect for others;
A willingness to learn, grow and share;
Dressed in business casual attire (a button-down shirt or a polo shirt and a belt are required)
A commitment to the program
A commitment to confidentiality

Between sessions, each EVF student must be prepared to do the following:

Complete any assignments or tasks that have been in instructed by an EVF leader;
Contact their EVF mentor or EVF leader at least once per week to "check in";
Commit to do his best in all areas of life (at home, at school,in the community and in friendships)

Mentors

All EVF mentors must come to the session prepared with the following:

Be on time with his mentee...set an example
A positive attitude, self respect and respect for others;
A willingness to teach, learn, grow and share;
Dressed in business casual attire (a button-down shirt or a polo shirt and a belt are required)
A commitment to the program
A commitment to confidentiality

Between sessions, each EVF mentor must be prepared to do the following:

Have contact with his mentee twice per week (once by phone and once by face);
Attend regularly scheduled mentor meetings;
Complete the EVF report card on a monthly basis
Commit to do his best in all areas of life (at home, at school, in the community and in friendships)
